That sort of thing does inspire smiles. My little rescued kitten Neko has had a bit of a problem with one of my mini male lions. He allowed her bedroom door to stay open all night two nights ago for the first time (in two months). She took advantage of every minute today, did a little testing. Tonight she felt brave enough to race like a pony all the way around the living room, into the bedroom, back out and around again and again and again and he ignored her. Whew! Cute. Made me smile.

I took the pups out a little while ago -- it's a clear, cloudless night and because I'm out in the country, there's almost no "light noise" -- the stars were amazing to see!
My friend's little girl who gave me one of her babies (a doll) to take care of because she has too many to take care of. Quote "I have too many babies now", I need to give some to people who will love them. Only eight she is and she has it figured out. In the meantime I am stuck with another kid..
