Good morning posters and we have another superduper day.

The downside is that our rivers and resevoirs are really starting to suffer, but let us enjoy things while we can.

Yesterday we went to a double birthday/engagement celebration. It was lovely and the music being played wasn't too loud.

Now I do like a rock concert but what I don't like is when you are at a pub/party etc and you can't hold a decent conversation due to what is today's peeve;

When music is being played too loudly.

I don't like neighbors playing loud music especially at night. More so later at night. Even more so if it's that awful umpa umpa umpa umpa papa um pa um pa ... or that awful nerve racking rap crap. Now in my home or car I play great music loud as I like unless the boss is complaining!

I was in a sports bar once where you could not carry on a conversation with the person next to you. Never went there again. Now that I am about 25 years older than then, I hate loud noise even more than I did them.

Just gimme my peace and quiet and I'm good.

We sat next to big speakers at a wedding where the music was played really loud.

My husband swears he suffered hearing loss from that night.

Oh I agree 100%, heck I have a hard time thinking straight when the noise is excessive

All I know is that I immediately look for a way out very fast

Listening to the people across the street play their radio or someone listening to a cd doesnt bother me so much....what annoys me is the car 4 cars back someone with a boom box stereo going in their car, listening to rap. Why the heck a need for a 500W stereo in any car???

I try to avoid loud music whenever possible. I'll just leave. Listening to loud music eventually creates hearing problems.

Isn't that why headphones were invented? Lol

What really annoys me is being at a traffic light and being next to a guy whose stereo is so loud that it vibrates my truck. It's a BIG truck too!
