Today's Peeve Of The Day, Saturday 2nd April. (great)

Good morning posters and welcome to the weekend.

I've been sitting down having a read of one of my books and this peeve just came to me;

Lending someone a book, or anything come to that, and not getting it back.

This is a great peeve Jeezer,I have lost so many books by lending them out.
Dont worry so much about paperbacks but I like to keep my hardcover books.
So..I stopped lending books out at all.

Or come back broken or filthy. I really hate to lend stuff out!

Good peeve I used to loan books and never got them back. I have since just give them away when I am through because that was basically what I was doing anyway.

I've stopped loaning out book for this very reason......I never get them back.

I don't lend things out if ever not knowing anyone around me much and I still have a hard time finding things so.....

In fact I have come to the point that I don't lend anyone anything.

Years ago dad lent out a book to which he was quite attached. It came back slightly damaged, so there's another warning.
