Which way do you say 2011? Two Thousand Eleven, or 20-11? It bugs the heck out of me people say it Two Thousand Eleven. Would you say Nineteen Hundred and Eleven, or 19-11? Seems like most in the media still say it the long way. maybe that's why much of the public follows and says it the same way? Ok, its a pet peeve, but it bugs me. I should have done this as a poll.

I said 2001 or better yet, just 01. Do you say 1901 or nineteen hundred and one.
But most folks said it the long way, I still hear pple say it the long way.

I cant believe all the years that have gone by. I've been stuck in neutral, watching it all pass by me. Deep thought there, sorry.

I say two thousand and eleven, or rather two thousand 'n eleven. Most Australians do I think (though it's not something that gets spoken a great deal). If it was 1911 I'd say nineteen eleven... so yes, I'm aware of the inconsistency!
