Normally that has not been a problem however I do remember making a call or two over the years to make clear what my expectation of a good nights sleep was and like magic it worked .......
Well it's been my experience that there is no such thing as a "noiseless" hotel room, especially at Myrtle Beach!! I don't think sleep is a priority around there.
Hey, how about those noisy kids banging on the walls, screaming and running up and down the hallways. You find them in nearly every tourist town hotel/motel.
DH and I once stayed in a hotel where we heard a really loud argument between a man and a woman taking place in another room. I mean it was HEATED!!! I was contemplating calling the manager but after awhile it settled down to just voices having a calmer "discussion". Eventually, it got really quiet and then the noise started in again.......this time the obvious moans of pleasure.....and THAT was also "heated".
To top it all off, the alarms in the building went off in the early morning!!! DH and I quickly got dressed and hightailed it outside, as did all the other hotel patrons. The fire department arrived. It turned out to be a toilet that had overflowed and saturated an entire room plus the hallway and the water triggered the alarm system.
And "interesting" night of little sleep......
