I'll admit, the enviornment I'm in tonight, drove me to ponder this...dark lonely back roads...
But as I was driving, thinking about my earthly life, i wondered what if, a Alien ship landed in a field, and I were given a chance to leave with them...right then, at that moment, on the spot...would I? Would you?
Would you trust them, the beings, enough to do that? Or would you just run away and flee, and never look back?
I would not immediately go. If such a thing existed, and I witnessed such a landing and ALFs, I would be interested in learning about them, and make an informed decision later about whether to go with them or not.
This reminds me of my favorite episode of the old Twilight Zone.
Alien ship lands on earth. The Aliens are big guys. They speak at the United Nations about having a cure for cancer and all kinds of perks they could share with earthlings. As they leave the building they forget to take one of their books with them.
It takes a while for our scientists to translate it. They finally translate the title "To Serve Man." Sounds great.
Then earthlings start taking flights to the aliens' planet. Neat. Friendly. Our hero is on the steps going into one of the spaceships when his assistant runs up and yells "Don't go, Dr. We translated the book "To Serve Man." It's a cookbook.
ahahaha. Nope I won't be boarding the ship to another planet anytime soon.
