Good Sunday Peevers!!

Today's Peeve: People who borrow stuff and never give it back.

You said you wanted to BORROW it... not steal it! If you borrow something, with the intention that it is being borrowed, you should return it! Don't just keep it forever because you don't feel like giving it back, or whatever you reason may be... because then you stole that item! If you want it that badly, either ask the person if you can keep it, or go out to Kmart, or Target or wherever and buy it~!

I agree.....can be annoying but sometimes people forget. Got to just ask for it or remind them.

What I do... because I'm one of those people that would forget... is just make a sticky note and place it somewhere I will see it... the refrigerator, the front door... that way I won't forget!

Oh what a peaver you are today, SCGuy!!!! I get really agitated when someone doesn't return my stuff!

I lent a really good Texas Gardening book out to a friend years ago. Time went by, I was looking for it, couldn't find it, bought another one, and 10 years later, she told me she had it!!!!Grrrr!

"Neither a borrower nor a lender be." Polonius
Wise words indeed.

My neighbor is like that---borrows and never returns. I had an expensive hedge trimmer that he borrowed in July and I finally went over and got it. He left it on his front porch and the blades were starting to rust so I picked it up and took it home. He got mad cause I went over and got it. He's also a great one for borrowing money and not returning it until asked for it. Now he's learned he can't borrow from me any more and that really makes him mad to the point where he hasn't spoken to me in over a month. That's in my favor though.
