Good morning everyone! Hubby got his results from the MRI done last week. He has some bulging disks and some herniate disks so he'll be out of work for about 4 weeks! AND it's the begining of the busiest month of the year in my office.......so between an ailing hubby and Fiscal year end....I'll probably be in the loony bin by Oct 1st! Maybe I should to to the prayers thread

Today's Question(s):

When you go out to eat, would you consider yourself a

Easy to please diner ?
or a
Pull up a chair this may take awhile order-er ?

If you or someone in your party is the 2nd one do you tip more ? Nope I tip on services alone

Extra Credit Question:
Speaking of tipping

What was the last thing you "tipped over" ? omg....I was vacuming and emptying it in a rather large trashbin....which was already full of things like cat litter and other fun stuff....and over it went.....dust and little pellet things everywhere! Good thing the granddaughters weren't there then...they would have learned some great new words

Bonus Question:

Last thing you paid a delivery fee for ? My new washer and dryer but will get it back in rebate form.

Inquiring Minds Question:

What are your Labor Day plans ? Well they were centered around a motorcycle...that's been scrapped so not really sure now.

Just for Fun:

What do you call:

The shiny silver stuff that comes out of the skinny box ? aluminum foil or tinfoil...I'm a transplanted yankee so it's both
The clear film wrap that does the same thing ? saran wrap or plastic wrap....or that $#@%$^W%^%$ stuff that get stuck together.
The carbonated beverage(not beer) that comes in a can or bottle ? soda
Do any of our QOTD family still have any 33 1/3 albums hangin around their home ? I have one....Norman Greenbalm's Spirit in the Sky.

Have a great day everyone! I'll be searching for Xanex!!

Today's Question(s):

When you go out to eat, would you consider yourself a

Easy to please diner ? Sometimes. Some places I visit have stupid menus...like one place has all kinds of different things and combinations of this & that...like a breakfast with two eggs, sausage or bacon, etc..., and you may pay $7 for it. Then you see a breakfast where you get 3 eggs plus sausage and bacon with the coffee free with it for $6.25..
So, when I walk into that place, I know what I'm ordering every time.......the same ol' same ol'... Personally, I think the owner must be a fool and the stupid menu takes all the fun out of the dining experience. I'm especially disappointed because this place is a Greek restaurant....and they are usually all-around great, menu included. (The food at this place is very good.)
or a
Pull up a chair this may take awhile order-er ? Mostly this. Some places I visit have very beautiful menus with hundreds of nice things listed on them....plus the description of each item. That requires some serious perusing ...

If you or someone in your party is the 2nd one do you tip more ?
I don't understand the question; I tip really good.
"Is the 2nd one" what?

Extra Credit Question:
Speaking of tipping

What was the last thing you "tipped over" ?
My aloe-filled plant pot outside after the heavy rains, so that the water in it doesn't breed mosquitoes.

Bonus Question:

Last thing you paid a delivery fee for ? Chinese food delivery; a $2
fee is charged, tip is separate from that. An excellent chinese take out restaurant it is! Argggggggg!

Inquiring Minds Question:

What are your Labor Day plans ?
Stay home, safe - and eat and drink and have fun. I hope it rains on my house really heavily.......all day long!

Just for Fun: I can hear Barney now......

What do you call:

The shiny silver stuff that comes out of the skinny box ?
Aluminum foil
The clear film wrap that does the same thing ?
Plastic wrap
The carbonated beverage(not beer) that comes in a can or bottle ?
Soda or pop<~~actually, I never call it pop but I respect those that do.

Do any of our QOTD family still have any 33 1/3 albums hangin around their home ?
Yes, a great collection.

Good Morning!
Yesterday was a long day. I did get to go kill time shopping - and spent about $175 dollars but got A LOT of stuff for the money. Feel guilty now, however, I do that any time I spend more than $20 on myself.
I was off work so that I could pick up DS from the airport. He had been in Phoenix visiting his (now ex-) girlfriend. It was a very rough weekend for them but they parted on good terms with no drama. He is very hurt and wonders if he is doing the right thing. It breaks my heart to see him hurting!

Today's Question(s):

When you go out to eat, would you consider yourself a

Easy to please diner ?
most of the time this
or a
Pull up a chair this may take awhile order-er ?
occasionally this - if the menu has stuff that is too "fancy".

If you or someone in your party is the 2nd one do you tip more ? no

Extra Credit Question:
Speaking of tipping

What was the last thing you "tipped over" ?
The jug of iced tea. Luckily it had a lid so nothing spilled!

Bonus Question:

Last thing you paid a delivery fee for ? no idea

Inquiring Minds Question:

What are your Labor Day plans ? another family reunion. It could be rough as it is on my MILs side and she passed away just before Thanksgiving last year.

Just for Fun:

What do you call:

The shiny silver stuff that comes out of the skinny box ?
aluminum foil
The clear film wrap that does the same thing ? saran wrap
The carbonated beverage(not beer) that comes in a can or bottle ? pop

Do any of our QOTD family still have any 33 1/3 albums hangin around their home ? yes, quite a few of them actually.
Today is:
National Trail Mix Day
Eat Outside Day
Love Litigating Lawyers Day
Superman Day
33 1/3 album Day
Nuts & Bolts Day

Today's Question(s):

When you go out to eat, would you consider yourself a

Pull up a chair this may take awhile order-er ?
I tend to eat at the same places so I know the menu. That makes me an easy to please diner. Don't put lemon in my iced tea and at least 4 packs of crackers with my cup of soup.

If you or someone in your party is the 2nd one do you tip more ?
People, beside my BIL, actually do this?. A T. I. P. is To Insure Prompt Service and is given, by me, as a percentage of the total bill and in accordance with the service,]

Extra Credit Question:
Speaking of tipping

What was the last thing you "tipped over" ?
Nothing in recent memory.

Bonus Question:

Last thing you paid a delivery fee for ?
Again nothing in recent memory.

Inquiring Minds Question:

What are your Labor Day plans ?
Nothing yet.

Just for Fun:

What do you call:

The shiny silver stuff that comes out of the skinny box ?
It took me a while to figure this out. Tin foil.
The clear film wrap that does the same thing ?
Suran wrap
The carbonated beverage(not beer) that comes in a can or bottle ?
Coke if it's cola flavored, soda if any thing else.

Do any of our QOTD family still have any 33 1/3 albums hangin around their home ?
I have about 300 copies of "God's Smile in the Morning" in the basement.
