Oh I hate that! I understand Toos about family, my brother and I do it and my Dad just sits there and laughs.

But when other people do it, I just shut up and kind of fume about it!!

Good morning everyone.

I see some jumped on the band wagon last night. LOL Good guys

I want to thank our friend from Nebraska for this peeve. It's a real big one for me. I know 2 people in our circle of friends that do this constantly. I already stopped the one and told her to wait, I wasn't done talking. She looked and me like I had 2 heads.
Even though they are in the circle.......I try to avoid them as much as possible.

Satx...there may have been a recent post but today is a whole new day
The ones I know that interrupt talk and talk as well........no one can get a word in. well maybe a word but then your cut off.
This is a good peeve for me cuz it allows me to vent. either vent or choke the living you know what out of them

Chowhoud........I know the feeling.

Redbird dear friend..........seems some people know they are not supposed to do certain things but try and get away with it anyways. I think some of these kids were always thought of as cute, special.......the sun rose and set on them. Glad the elders escort them them out. RUDE is definately the work
BTW......yeah....taking care of business when I got home from a night out.
Invited to dinner, wine, cards......wonderful evening with friends and a ton, I mean a ton of laughs........But not as much as cozy

Marmac.......Yeah that is exactly what they do. Not a bit intested in hearing what anyone else has to say.
you dont' know nothing and they have all the answers. Makes you wonder didn't anyone teach them anything

AksarbeN............Exactly and its always a one way conversation.
Very annoying to say the least./

Cuncu......That is exactly what the message says....."what you have to say is not important and is of no interest to me.Period.

Hi Gue in Gueland

Lucky lady........guess we have all met people like that.

Toosie........my little friend. Yeah in the spirit of things it is extremely insulting
And that board pres better watch out, if he is not doing a good job, the universe has a way of taking care of people like that.
We had an activities director here when we first moved in who was not a people person. she insulted the residents, had her favorites and showed partially to her friends when we all pay the same community fee. She is gone........Yay.
The residents were up in arms and had a meeting with the own. She has not shown her face much in the past year and a half. Was her own fault.
so I'm hoping this toad will get exactly what he deserves. I'm small too and have a hard time speaking up in certain circumstances but lately I make myself heard. It is not nice to ignore and have no consideration for others views. Do you have a whistle you can blow. LOL....a loud one toose

I just love people like this - NOT What kills me is when they're asking questions that I'm trying to answer, "trying" being the operative word. They'll interrupt me to ask the exact same thing I would tell them if they'd just let me finish a sentence.

Then there are the people who see and HEAR you speaking with someone else, but still come up and interrupt the conversation. I had someone stop by wanting some information on the market and as we were talking, some guy just walked up and butted in wanting directions - he kept going on and on that it was supposed to be 'right there'. I don't mind at all when I'm not with a client, but I mean it was obvious there was a business conversation going on - plus there's a tourist information center literally a few feet away with a big sign in English. By the time I could tell El Rude One I had no clue where the place was and to try next door, the person I was talking to needed to leave to head to the airport

Yeah rude interruption can be irritating, but sometimes I wish someone would interrupt before I put my foot in my mouth...

Big peeve of mine. Even worse: people who won't even give you a chance to express yourself!

I have little patience for people who interupt me while I'm talking, and usually tell them "excuse me, I'm not finished talking"! They get the message after that!!!

This is a big peeve of mine too. I know a few people who constantly interupt me when I'm talking to them. Sometimes I just want to ask them why they even bother to talk to me at all if they're not going to listen to half of what I say! I'm a patient person but one of these days I'm going to interupt them and tell them that if they are going to contine to talk to me they will have to let me finish what I have to say.

It depends on the situation...but I think this is difficult for many people at times...understandable how it could annoy others.

This is a big peeve of mine... but the worst thing is it's a bad habit that I have, too. And it's a really hard habit to drop. Everyone in my family does it all the time, so it's a habit from childhood. Sometimes it's hard to know when a person is finished with what they have to say, sometimes it's a matter of getting over excited by an idea. Slowly I'm growing out of this habit, but not as quick as I'd like.
