I wish they were coded into the website...I'm not tech savvy enough to copy them all and save them, then retrieve them when I want them etc! It's just easier for the poster when it's part of the software at the particular website.

But hey...beggars can't be choosers! So, I guess I'll just keep using what's here and be happy we have those!

I think they should sneak around and use anything they've got.

A man should feel free to use emoticons anytime he darn well pleases! I don't like the idea that macho men are not supposed to emote - in real life OR in cyberspace!

When you download and save them on your computer (I'll send you a DM later today to show you how to save them on your computer) you can then upload them to a photo hosting web site, like Photobucket.com or sometimes Internet Service Providers give you some web space so you can build your own website, or store files and images. When you upload them to the site, they can now be viewed by everyone, but you have to post a link to the smilie images, enclosed in "" (without the double quotes). Example: .

I'll include some examples in my DM.

I'm with you, Maggi - this sounds very confusing to me, too time consuming, and waaaaaaay too much trouble. I'll just go with the emoticons right here on C-D! (Mike, you'll just have to make up for those of us who are not as computer literate as you! )

What a load of horse manure!

I use emoticons all the time and I'm 64. 25 years old my butt!

Not sure. It depends on who is writing the rules at the time. I mean not writing.

Where are you getting your emotions? They look different from the rest.
