Hello I'm looking to relocate to Celebration Florida by the end of the year. Looking to rent first , if I like it then I'll buy. Can anyone give me some info. on Celebration. I was in Celebration over a year ago and it seemed nice. Also a complex called Marisol within Celebration. Any info would be greatly appreciated.......

Default Celebration

Junior, there have been posts on Celebration, check out "similar threads" or just search for "Celebration" and you'll find some information. You've got the right idea to rent first, to get
a feel for the area.

I would suggest renting in or near downtown. You get more out of living in Celebration that way.

I have rented from Celebration Rental Group in the past they are very good.
Celebration FL Home Rentals and Reunion Resort Homes for Lease or Rent, For Rent, Property Management

Also check craigslist, this is usually the best source to find garage apartments.

WE too were intererested in Celebration. We liked the total concept.
We feel lucky that we found Baldwin Park in Orlando.
Same total concept, 25 miles from WDW and all of the tourists and close to everything and I mean everything.
We hold WDW seasonal passes but once home from a day there it is a whole different world.
Just my 2 cents.

Default Celebration

Hello,

Celebration is nice, but I feel a bit overpriced. I would look at places other than Marisol. We looked at it a year or so ago and much of it was being worked on and some renovated. This year there were a lot foreclosures. Two things I've heard from previous renters and a realtor are not so great management and a lot of noise issues.

You could also try Champions Gate, right down I-4 10 minutes.

Good luck!

Mirasol is gorgeous, see if there are any Carlyle units for rent. I checked recently with Century 21 and was told there was no availability in the Carlyle, however, that may have changed.

I spent many of weeks in Celebration, namely the hospital. That area is awesome, though i can't offer any living advice. I had 3 knee surgeries by Dr. Robert Palumbo there at Celebration hospital.

I have to agree that I too prefer Baldwin Park. While Celebration is nice, the HOA is very restrictive and it is the heart of tourist ville.. The homes of Baldwin Park seems to me to be of a much better quality of construction. Both offer a nice lifestyle. just comes down to preferences.
