Hi,

We moved to Lake Mary 5 months ago with our 3 sons. 2 are in local schools and have met lots of friends. Our eldest 17 is in between scholls/ college due to finishing his education in the UK before we left and to young to do the college courses he wants.
Any suggestions as to where he could go to meet similar age teenagers?
Thanks in advance

First, there is no age limit at universities. If he has the credit and abilities they will accept him. Regardless though the best bet in all honesty would be to get him into SSC or Valencia (SSC is closer to you but Valencia is probably the better of the two) and he can start on some of the generic core courses he will have to take in University. It will save money in the long run and he'll be able to make some friends.

Other than that it depends on what he enjoys. There are parks, martial arts schools, dance schools, churches, YMCA, bike clubs, crossfit, gyms, chess clubs, gymnastics, ice skating, roller skating, hockey, swimming pools, video games...

Its just like any other city go to google type in a subject he likes and add Orlando to your search or buy a phone book. If you do this and still can't find something come back and ask with more specifics.
