Maybe I'm not aware of all my options since I've only lived here about 18 months, but are there no competing cable companies? I've done internet searches and am coming up empty. Since they're losing some of the channels I watch, since I'm paying more than I think I should be, and since the service lately has been downright crappy, I've decided it's time to go. The problem is, where to? I have their bundle package, so I have to find new internet service and an internet phone. I'm thinking Vonage will be a good replacement for my phone. However, Embarq's internet seems to be much slower than Brighthouse's, and I'm not sure who else is out there. Any suggestions?

I am a brighthouse customer and we have been very happy with the service. We have their internet and cable services as the basic service is included with our HOA however i use Vonage for telephone.

I vaguely remember the same issue with the same channels a year or so ago, however it was resolved, so im not too concerned. If you are looking to switch perhaps you should consider Comcast for cable and internet.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'd had Comcast in Houston, but I wasn't aware you could get service out here with them.

Dang it! I just went on Comcast's website and put in my zip code, and the only thing they offer Osceola County residents is Disney movies on demand, nothing else. Back to the drawing board!

I wish I lived in one of those counties! I may have to stay with Brighthouse for my internet, but maybe I can at least get rid of them for cable and phone. I'm looking at Dish for my tv and Vonage for my phone.
