We are located out in the Kissimee/Poinciana area...reside in a nice gated community and I think alot of these vendors stick it to us all since it is so pristine here...

I'm in Waterford Lakes so my pool people wouldn't service your area. Shop around, I'm on my 3rd pool service in 3 yrs. We found a company with a super nice owner who charges $74.00 a month which includes all the chemicals.

I would check with Waterline, Blue Haven, and Artisian Pools. All could give you bids on what you would like to build. You can also build your own (serve as your own contractor), but it gets a little more involved. The upside to doing your own is that you can get more for the $$$, can customize any way you want, and have the flexibility to change at any stage of construction. Downside is that you can get stuck with shoddy work (gotta know what you're doing or have an independent inspector), you have to deal with working with subcontractors, and if you're not careful, you're imagination can run away with you and your budget! If you decide to try to do your own, PM me - I can give you some good contacts.

Oh yeah, when I last talked to Artisian, they said their basic pool (about your size) would run around 50K.

Thanks for the info.....wow, 50k for that size... The pool people have really gone up in price since 1999. We had a standard 15 X 30 rectangular w/fence and it cost us 15k. Of course, that wasn't w/a screen enclosure since we lived in Ft. Laud and there weren't bugs like MCO. The quote I had w/Jade was 29k. It was somewhat smaller than the standard.

yeah, the cost of installing a pool has risen drastically .... and screens are outa sight! Last bid we had on ours was 10K for the screen! We're leaving it open and loving it!

You are SO lucky that you don't need a screen enclosure....Where we reside, we could never not have one....We have a conservation in front of home and lake in back. And, the pesty LoveBugs are back! Nothing like last September, but they are here.
