Del Air seems to be very reliable. I know a lot of people who use them. I haven't had to, but that's who i would call if I did.

I just had my AC worked on by Folsom Electric. Came the next day and did not charge an arm and a leg. I was very happy.

I had my whole AC unit replaced by Del Air, they did good work. These units typically should last 10 years. But when I was having a leak in the unit that they just put in 5 years ago, the Del Air tech recommended that I replace my whole unit again, just after 5 years?

Granted I didn't want to spend another $1200 or so dollars again in just five years, I got a second opinion, this time from Sunshine Air Conditioning. Their tech was very cordial and fixed what was the only problem, which was a small leak. Sunshine AC then came back a couple times to change a capacitor which blew due to lighting strikes. In other words, Sunshine AC comes in, takes a look at the problem, and tells me what I need.

Every time I talk to a Del Air tech, they are always recommending that the whole unit or compressor be changed, or even replace the whole air-handling unit (AHU), work that costs anywhere from $1500 - $3500. While Sunshine AC fixes what's only broken, which to me, is reputable.

So you decide, that is my experience with either company.

One Stop Cooling and Heating is a good company, too. They have been in business for over 15 years and are a nice, honest, family business.

I have had Alliance Air do work for my home as well as some of the rental homes I manage for others. Ronnie has done well in many areas, but sometimes he is a little proud. His contact number is 407-532-9883. I have used another person for replacements and found his prices to be excellent, even better than Ronnie but he isnt the regular maintenance kind of guy.

All the Best

Del Air did a replacement for me a few years ago, and I remember the work being excellent. Not sure about the price, as it was a warranty job.
