If you have children, don't move to Hunter's Creek...it's falling apart fast.

great. No kids, just my gf n I. I dont want hers or my car broken into, our motorcycles(parked outside)(79 Honda CB750, and 80s Honda Rebel) stolen or kicked over, apt broken into(ill cover everything going into the apt when moving in) I want to be able to get gas at midnight if I have to, go to the food store after dark, maybe a sunset walk.

It is not that bad. You should look up crime stats and information for the zip code 32837.

I respectfully disagree with your assessment of Hunter's Creek.

The location is excellent for the OP needs and there are 24 hour gas stations, lots of shopping at the Loop--which just keeps getting bigger and bigger; 3 WalMart Supercenters within 5 miles of HC. Lots of community parks, bike trails, etc. and it is VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY-even though the OP does not have children. Not sure what you mean by "falling apart fast"--the homeowner's association here is very strict--to the point that it often seems like they pick about nothing. The apartment communities here are all kept up--there are no slum areas within Hunter's Creek. For a community within Orlando that has its own population of over 25,000 people that's pretty good. It' s not Celebration,Windermere, or Dr. Phillips, but it is no where close tothe way you describe it.

I was talking about the high school. Since kids aren't an issue, the area should be fine for the location you need. There is a soccer field I used to play pick up games in Hunter's Creek. I wouldn't worry about being mugged or anything.

I agree with you. Now Landstar or parts of South Chase may be different but Hunters Creek is a pretty solid area still.
