There's not a whole lot of posters who regularly answer questions on here, so the chance of someone having first-hand experience with a particular apartment complex is going to be slim.

I can tell you that all of those areas are pretty safe. The best area out of your list would be Windermere. The rest are a toss-up, as people have mixed opinions on Hunter's Creek and some of your choices are in tourist-y areas. Nothing stands out as being inherently bad, though.

I have friends living in Osprey Links at Hunters Creek, and they enjoy living there. Its very safe, many people walking their dogs or exercising at night/early mornings and close to parks restaurants and supermarkets. It's also very clean. Compared to many apartment complexes being gated, Osprey Links isn't gated yet it is safer than most of the gated complexes.

I live in Alexandria Parc Vue, right down (about 100 yards) from Abaco. Wasn't sure if you didn't know it was here or had ruled it out for some reason.

Only been here a few weeks but it seems very safe and the apartments are decent. I'm a home owner in the state we moved from so I'm "spoiled" and not psyched about being back in an apartment, period. But it's not hell Pools are nice and seem to be cleaned regularly. Maintenance guys are really nice and helpful. Mix of families, young singles, etc. I think short of going with Altis (which was way too expensive for a 3 bedroom, 1200 sqft apt for a family of 4, even if just for a year ), all the places in this area are going to be pretty comparable. Good luck!

I did but the reviews on apartment ratings.com kept me away. Not sure if I should take those ratings with a grain of salt.

We live in the condos in the same complex as Altis. We originally looked at Altis but it made way more sense for us to buy a condo instead. At any rate we really like the area a lot. For working at Disney it makes avoiding traffic really easy. I would consider where you travel to work as well.
