Are there any good HeadHunters or Recruiters in the Central Florida Area??? My girlfriend just moved back to the area and is looking to use the services of a Headhunter/Recruiter to help with the process of job hunting. She is 27 and has an IT degree from Old Dominion University in Virginia with recruiting, sales, and customer service experience.

I have been in touch with a few headhunters but since it's only been a few weeks that I've been actively searching, I wouldn't recommend any of them just yet. As an IT person myself, I am finding that there seems to be a good amount of jobs out there, but many of the recruiters/headhunters are competing for the same jobs...

I'll update you as my progress moves along. I know there are a couple of job fairs in Orlando next week, one by Orlando Sentinel and another by Monster.com, just an fyi...

I haven't run the headhunter circuit for almost 8 years, but the ones I liked then were ROMAC and CDI Corp...... I'm also in IT so I'm unsure whether those two do anything other than IT jobs....

Hope that helps somewhat...

ROMAC is now KForce I believe...they are pretty good. Robert Half Technology is pretty good as well. Never heard of CDI Corp.

Any suggestions yet? Marketing/management here, and just starting the process...

To LoansInFlorida,

As for recruiters, you might also look at Tek Systems (near UCF), Spherion (Maitland) and Kelly IT Services (Maitland).

Yeah I've spoken to several headhunters in the area now. Robert Half seems to be a big one in the area, and Triad seems to have a few decent positions. Most of the ones I talk to seem to be centered around Technology so not sure if it would help you or not theway146...
