Have been a lurker here for a long time. We just sold our house and am moving from PA down to the Orlando area, specifically Lake Mary since we heard nice things about the area and liked it ourselves.
Looking for 2 bedroom apartments around $1000, we narrowed the search down to 3-4 choices (top pick first).
Colonial Grand Town Park
Legends Lake Mary
Osprey Links (in Hunter's Creek)
Bentley Park at Timacuan (last choice since we have a bunny and they don't allow bunny...exotic animal
