You may want to check Dr Phillips or Windermere. I chose not to move in those areas because my mother in law has arthritis and stairs are not feasible and tighting the family budget since we will have to travel further to go offshore fishing.

Re. the drive from Ocoee, if you can get to the 429 toll road quickly, it's really, really fast to get to Disney via their Western Way entrance off 429. You will pay a lot in tolls, though.

Re. Indian Ridge, we've rented near there as vacationers, and it is a transient short term villa rental area but other than that I can't find anything negative to say. Homes are not the best built, I don't know that I would buy there but it would be a fine place to rent for a while until you decide where you want to settle permanently. It's a short drive to Disney, again you can use the 429 or stick with surface roads.
