Alarm Security Company advice needed (Orlando, Sarasota: home, charge, worth)

Hi.

We are trying to get some idea/opinions on which alarm security companies and monitoring services are good and not so-good. I dont like having to commit to a contract for 3 years, like some of the bigger companies (ADT, Brinks, Ect ) require, but if they are really good and reliable then it may be worth trying it?

Has anyone heard or used a company called Orlando Emergency Signal? The use a monitoring service in Sarasota called All American Monitoring Service, it seems to be based in florida and they dont require a longterm contract.

Anyone's feedback, opinions or experiences with any alarm services in central florida is appreciated. Thank You

I would shy away from the ADT/Brinks type companies. Depending on your home, you might have a few options. My home was pre-wired with an alarm system already. It was ADT and I didn't have the old pin code to set the alarm. For about $150, I was able to order a new keypad and control box and set it up myself.
From there, you can find monitoring companies for $10 a month (a far cry from the $30+ ADT wants to charge).
