Hi there! I'm transferring to OSU next fall, and I'd like some input about the coolest places to live in Corvallis. I like a place that's quiet, walkable, bikeable, within fifteen minutes (by bike/bus) of a natural area and the university, within five minutes of a good grocery store/credit union/etc. I'd like to rent a room in a nice older house with other folks in their 20's/30's. I'm not into loud college parties, and I'm not into strip malls or suburbs.

Check out the SW side of town. We live in the old Country Club subdivision just off Brooklane. We are just minutes from the bike trail, Avery Park, Starker Park and Mary's River Natural Area. We are also minutes by bike from the campus and downtown also.
