Kids play land in South OC area? (San Diego, Irvine: house, theater)

Hi All,

My daughter just turned one. I live in Aliso Viejo. I am wondering if there is a playground for kids around the South OC area. I just visited my friend in San Diego and she brought us to this indoor play land. It’s inside an office building, full of all kinds of toys and small rooms for “Hospital”, “Police Station”, “Theater”, etc. My daughter enjoyed a lot. The facility is for kids from 1-5, very safe. Parents don’t need to follow their kids all the time. They can chat, read books or even surf the internet – wireless internet access available.

That’s the only location they have. So I am wondering if there is anything similar in OC? Thank you so much!

The closest thing we have to that is Scooters Jungle in Aliso Viejo, an indoor play facility that hosts birthday parties but has playtimes for kids 5 and under (Wednedsay mornings, I think). The main attraction is a bouncy house and a huge inflatable slide which is probably best for kids over 2. There is also Jumpin Jammin in Mission Viejo, which has a bounce house and small-kid area (3 and under) within its larger main room, which is more for kids 4 and up. The place in SD sounds great - interesting business idea!

Thank you so much for your reply. The Aliso Viejo location is just 2 miles from my home! Can't wait to check them out. If they are not interesting enough maybe I will think about opening one!

That place you gave the link to is pretty awesome! Our favorite place over here is called Jump 2 It (Jump 2 It - Home). It is an indoor inflatable party facility, but I like the place you showed also.

There's also Pretend City in Irvine which is a miniature city for kids. I think it's a similar concept to Kidsville Playland.
