Those hangers are so huge they have their own separate weather patterns, different from the outside weather...
"The hangars held their own weather on occasion. In the mornings, the marine layer would enter the hangar when the doors opened. As the day went on, the marine layer would lift toward the ceiling, becoming trapped. The moisture then would fall to the ground as it condensed, creating something like a weather system inside the massive structures."

The Ralphs at Ocean Ranch in Dana Point. They turned the pedestrian bridge on PCH into a wine display.

scraping by on $50,000 per year? You must be deluded by THINGS (buy buy buy waste waste waste)

Let's see:

max $2000/month for rent; (in IN you could really even get a mortgage for only $500 - $1000/mo)
$24,000/year. MAIN EXPENSE.

Other things:
Car: if paid off them maybe $50 to $150/mo for insurance and maintenance: $1800/year
Food: for one person you can easily get by on $200/mo or less. But let's be generous with $500/mo which really is a ridiculous amount to spend on one person for food: $6000/year
Leisure: $200/mo on leisure activities and clothes is WAY MORE THEN YOU NEED. But let's give you that: $2400/year
Misc Expenses: It could cover things like house insurance, dentist, or unexpected expenses like medical: $200/mo (Very Generous amount): $2400/year

Grand total:
24000
1800
6000
2400
2400
____
$36,600
Left over for savings or emergencies: $13,400 savings/year

$13K is more than most low-class people make in a whole year. And it's more than some whole villages make in their entire lifetimes combined in 3rd world countries.

Moreover, with just a little budgeting, it's not hard to cut your expenses in half (mainly by paing $1000/mo instead of $2000/mo on rent or mortgage).

If you're just scraping by with $50,000 in an obscure place like Indiana which has a low cost of living, then you are being far too materialistic and wasteful. With the money you utterly waste in one year, whole families (yes, in the USA) could live for an entire year.

You should rethink your life.

Uh, that's your budget? A bit simple, no? Is this person not paying any income tax?

If you're single and your gross income is $50k/year, then your take-home income is about $36k/year or $3k/month in California.
