Not bad usually. About 45 minutes on the 5.

Shouldn't be too horrible for the "to" commute, with an edge going to Cerritos since you'll bypass the LA Country stretch of the 5. East 91 to south 5 will be the most direct route.

Leaving work, though, you'll have some traffic.

Depending on what part of Tustin you are going to, I would suggest that you consider taking the 405 to the 22 to the 55. I live in Tustin (Redhill and Irvine)and I avoid the 5 whenever possible. But if you have to go to the Marketplace or The District area, the 5 might be better for you.

Your morning commute should be pretty smooth in any case because you will be ahead of the really heavy stuff. The afternoon trip may be a little slower.

If it was one the days like today or the weekend it would be a 3 hour trip coming home.

Definitely a much easier commute to Cerritos. Straight down the 605(S), especially those hours. I would say 40 min max. Tustin and the 22, 57, 55 would be a whole other story.

Definitely a piece of cake to Cerritos, you could even do streets (Bloomfield for example), For Tustin it will be a little while longer......

What would be the fastest route to and from Whittier if I had to commute from my home inTustin Ranch (near Tustin Ranch Road and the 5)? The zip in whittier is 90602. I'm possibly getting a job in Whittier.
