This remodel has been planned for some time.

Why did the city have the parking lot re-paved this past May when they could have dont it during the remodel?

Inefficiency at its best.

If the student is deemed to be repetitively truant their access to the library computers is restricted to some degree, say 1 hour per day or something similar.
Sadly that will not happen. Staff members are forbidden from reporting truant students. It can cost them their jobs. As for how I know this, I will leave that up to you to figure out .

dealing with the truancy issue is something me and many others have as a current crusade.

if wanting to see OPS truancy rates go way down makes me "wrong" than I am proud to be "wrong".

btw: State Senator Brad Ashford who is a Liberal Republican btw is also on a trauncy kick as pro-trauncy folks would say.

why anyone would be for kids playing hooky from school, shows how little they care about the education of young folks.

No one said that you were wrong, just that it was your crusade. While I do think it's a good goal, complaining about it constantly on Facebook and this forum isn't going to solve the problem.

true, but it will draw attention to the issue If I keep "complaining" about it

Agreed! A lone voice honestly will likely get nothing done. One is more likely to succeed if they can get a group together. More voices, more power.
