how would I find either a lot to put a trailer on, or a house to rent in the countryside, around Duncan, preferably between Duncan and Lawton? Thanks.

Budget? Acreage requirements? Schools? Utility types (electric/gas)?

Between Lawton and Duncan there really isn't much, my SIL went through a similar search about six months ago. Settled on a rental home in Elgin. OK Hwy 7 connects east Lawton and north Duncan, I drive it a fair amount, maybe even today if I go to a watering hole (Kochendorfer) if it's not too hot. Most of the area is very rural, not built up much, but the zoning favors single and doubles as well as homes. Lots are big, though.

Between Marlow and Duncan it's a mishmash of zoning.

An example of what's out there, this is off OK 7: https://www.rent.com/oklahoma/duncan...4-lv1406478975

wow, I pay $600 per month in W. Lawton. I have a brick home, nice neighborhood, I dont care about the schools, Elgin's a bit far up the road. My woman is going to college in Lawton, but i want to be a lot closer to Duncan's lake. Thanks for your reply, it was awesome in its detail. i only require an acre or less.

Drove 7 to Duncan yesterday and there's nothing I see along the road. My SIL used Facebook Marketplace to find their place in Elgin; there are plenty of options, both electronic and traditional (but avoid the one that advertises with the two kids, and the "We not bragging we applying for a job" slogan.)
