I just don't have the patience to housebreak and train a puppy any more, and after Paddy spent DH's last year laying next to him in bed, she needs some incentive to get out and romp around and just be a dog again. But she's also 9 now, so a really young and energetic one would be a bit much.

He might be 65, but did you see him bouncing around the stage at the Super Bowl last year? And as far as other 60+ goes, how about Sally Field, Goldie Hawn, Cher, Glenn Close, Suzanne Sommers, Diane Keaton to name just a few. Pretty soon the AARP magazine will be the magazine of the stars!

Hey, 65 is just another number. And some of us are just bouncier than others - some of us do our bouncing in other ways.

And don't forget James Garner, Sean Connery, Richard Boone, Robert Mitchum, Jack Palance, and James Coburn - not all are still alive now, but they were more than active in their 60's.

I am hurting SO badly today. We lost one of our precious little pets this morning. She was only four years old and had cancer. I can't tell you how bad of a day this is for me.

Ah, Jammie, I'm so sorry. We lost our dog several years ago to cancer. She was only 4 also. It's so painful. Losing a pet is pretty much losing a family member.

How about Harrison Ford doing another Indiana Jones movie at 60+? And Meryl Streep at 59 sure did a lot of gymnastics in Mamma Mia!

And yes, GP, there's still a lot of "bounce" in this old gal!

That's awful. I had one particular one I had to have pts because of cancer, and it broke my heart. I'll be sending good thoughts your way.
