In case some of the newbies don't know about this. There is an auction of state surplus goods, with online bidding available.
A friend gets all his computer supplies from this source, fixes them up, then sells them to make a buck or two. He gets laptops for $65, CPU's for $50 *(w/o HD, or OS).

Great Concert
Anna and I went to the Zoo Ampitheater tonight to see Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick. It was sold out -- talk about crowded! We stood in a slow moving line for over an hour to get into the gate -- in over 100 degrees temp.
I'm surprised there weren't dead bodies to climb over.
Concert was very good -- Cheap Trick was ok, Heart was good, and Journey was phenomenal. So much energy. We sure showed that Okies aren't a bunch of sticks. I waded through the smoke of so many funny cigarettes that it's amazing I was able to drive home.

I don't think I've ever heard Cheap Trick, but I do like Journey and Heart. I used to know someone who played back up for Heart back in the day when they were just starting out in Seattle, though by the time I met her she'd already quit the music scene.
Didn't anyone ever tell you we aren't supposed to admit we know what the smoke from left-handed cigarettes smells like?

That was spectacular. It took a while to load on my machine so I went and made a snack. Munching away and then started the movie. Almost lost my snack!!! Those people are nuts.
