Going through it because traffic here is getting worse with all of the new development going up. Especially in the Danforth Farms area. And I just think that it would be nice!!

Again; Just my opinion. Any answers? Any talk of a highway?

They need to dedicate land for a freeway. U.S. 77 would have to require a new alignment from its current freeway terminus and basically parallel I-35 up to near Guthrie. They need to plan now, not wait until it's too late.

We have 3 of them.. how many more do you need.

I dont like Portland because of all the stop signs/lights... hard to be a highway with stop signs/lights every mile. Unless you are going north, then its ok. Though I usually just take Penn (I live on Penn) north to Hwy 33 to get to Guthrie if I need to.

hwy 77 obviously doesnt got north... but atleast it goes south.. with a stop light every mile... Would be nice to have it go north though, but agree it needs to be "realigned" as downtown is not where a highway needs to run.

I-35 is good but a bit out of the way unless you happen to live in East Edmond.

Maybe Edmond needs a highway going East/west.. Not sure what is out West that anyone would want to go through.. and there is already 2nd street (Hwy 66) going east. I enjoy taking Hwy 66 to hwy 177 to go to Stillwater.. Though it is only 2 lane it is scenic.

Im talking about a highway without the stop lights/signs.
Going through it. I-35 is great for East Edmond like you said. But it isnt so great for West Edmond people. Maybe One day theyll have one on that side.

Architect... I know you did, I wasnt trying to be a smart *** or anything. So I apologize if you took it that way. I was just stating the facts for anyone else that was reading and might not be as familiar with the area.
