I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a high-risk ob gyn in the oklahoma city area? I have had one previous miscarriage and can't seem to get any help or answers from my current doctor. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

I've heard some good things about a doctor by the last name of Edwards at Mercy Hospital. Don't know him personally though. I'm pretty sure the last name was Edwards too...no promises. Sorry this wasn't highly specific.

I work for OU Physicians, the largest physician group in Oklahoma. Here's a link to our High-risk pregnacy doctors. You can also search the website to find out more about OU Physicians.

OU Physicians - Oklahoma University Health Science Center

If that link doesn't work go to OU Physicians - Oklahoma University Health Science Center and at the top where it says "Find a physician" there is a drop-down menu and you can select "high-risk pregnancy"

Like I said OU Physicians is the largest group in the entire state with nearly every speciality you can imagine. In fact some of our doctors are the only ones of their kind in the state. Our doctors also serve as faculty at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Centers and are also involved in tons of research and clinical trials. So...they are extremely knowledgeable and up to date on the latest and greatest in the medical field.

We also recently completed a several year long project to become AAAHC accreditated. That included making significant changes and improvements to ensure we are providing the highest quality care to our patients.

Hope this helps!
Good luck!

I am also having a high risk pregnancy and I am seeing doctors at the OU high risk clinic. They are really good. I would highly recommend them.

I am totally a high risk patient looking for a good doc. I'm 36, having twins (had an ultrasound at a clinic), have diabetes and had cryosurgery in the past. I read the posts for OU and I am going to call on Monday and make an appointment. I have an appointment with MWC Renaissance and told them I am high risk and they still have me waiting 3 weeks for my FIRST appointment when I am already 11 weeks and have had no prenatal care yet. I'm not too happy about that, not to mention I won't even get to see the doctor at that time, just the nurse and have labs drawn! Thanks to the above posters who recommended OU, they sound like they actually care about their patients.
