My husband and I are looking for a home near the Electric Metra Line. We need regular access to the Randolph St. station so the other Metra lines won't help. What community would you recommend for someone who uses the train a lot?

Are you referring to the "L" run by the CTA within the city limits of Chicago or are you referring to the Metra trains which serves the Illinois suburbs of Chicago? Neither train line runs into Indiana. If you want a train line that runs from Indiana to Chicago you need the South Shore. It has several stops in Chicago--the last at Millennium Station at Randolph St. Here is a link to the most recent stops and schedules.

I just read another one of your posts ... you're looking to move into Illinois, right?
