I vaguely recall a great place with egg specialties. Eggspectations maybe? Does this ring a bell with anyone. Whatever the place was, a late night omelet is a delicious thing to have.

Haha, I know what you mean Normie!!!!!! I think it'll be a while before my mind will allow me to touch any cold beverages. Shakes, smoothies, Starbucks frapps, ice cream, are going out the door for a while. -mmccul

Guilty pleasure, I know, but it's hard to beat Chick Fil-A.

You know, sometimes when I get the late night munchies what I crave is Chinese takeout. Anyone know place that's open after midnight?

There's a shopping centerin Chantilly at Rt 28 and Westfields (I think) that has a store called eggspectations. I've never been but always pass it on the way to work. Maybe this is what you're remembering?

There's a Denny's on Route 1 down near Hybla Valley as well.

I'll second that. I can't wait until Crumbs Bake Shop and Sonic both open up in Reston!

My favorite place is Mama Wok in Reston, but I think they close at 9:30. Have you ever eaten at that fancy-looking Indian place along Elden Street, roughly across from Jiffy Lube? What about Anita's?

A Sonic is opening in Reston? Cool, I can see it fitting in with the Reston vibe, but where will they fit a place like Sonic that needs a drive through?

I'm quite the late-night grub connoisseur, and I agree with the diner/breakfast places (Bob & Edith's, Silver Diner, IHOP), but for my money, nothing beats Kabob Palace in Crystal City:

It's a good portion of food for right around $10, and they have free tea to help sober you up! It's the ultimate late-night dive.
