Google Rod Leffler, attorney at law in Fairfax. Excellent lawyer and well respected in the Commonwealth Attorney's office as he used to work in there. Not sure if he'll represent you in traffic court but you never know. He was a one time legal instructor for the No Va Criminal Justice (Police) Academy.
I might suggest something else first though. Take it or leave it. I'd go to court first w/o an attorney and talk to the prosecuting attorney. If you see the officer first then talk to them first. Tell them you want to plead to speeding and offer 74/55. That puts in under Reckless. They all want to make deals so they can get out of there. If you don't like the deal offered then request a continuance then get the lawyer. You're entitled to at least one continuance. You might even be able to do this over the phone before court but I don't know how accessible the commonwealth attorney's are in FX via phone.
Oh yeah. Rod is a former police officer so he knows all the ins and outs of the system.

Welcome to the club. I got hit with a reckless driving ticket a few years back but in Prince William Co. The judge seemed to be in a good mood and all I had to do was pay my $175 fine. No lawyer needed but Faifax Co. is notorious so good luck.

You were going almost 30mph over the speed limit.

What the hell is wrong with you?

+1 for taking your license away, you should NOT be on the road.

Speed limit is merely a tool for state/county to collect revenue. There are dozens of things people does on the road that are no less dangerous than speeding, yet never been enforced. Most people in this country should not be on the road. Period.

Do not go to court without a lawyer in Fairfax County. It will not be good.
