The weather forecast for tomorrow is great. So what is everyone planning on doing this weekend?

Planning to take the Metro to the National Mall and walk the Western End with my DH and Toddler (in the stroller of course). I hope to buy my summer sandals tonite and have my toes painted!

1. Hiking at Riverbend Park tomorrow, the bluebells should be in peak form by now. If you've never done this, I highly recommend it.

2. Leesburg Flower Festival sometime this weekend, depending on how energetic we are.

3. Spraying the outside of the house with insect barrier, it's that time of year again folks. Die carpenter bees, die!

4. Hanging out with the grandkids, probably playing ping pong Sunday night. We have a family tradition of playing ping pong when it rains.

5. Netflix movie: The Blue Butterfly.

I bought one of those cultivator attachments for my weed wacker, so I am going to finish cultivating my garden and planting 150+ seeds of lettuce leaf basil. This year will be a production year of basil so I can make my own Pesto sauce. Yummy!!

If we have time after yardwork, we're planning to go to Great Falls National Park. Otherwise, we'll head over to Burke Lake.

Just being outside will be a treat - what beautiful weather.

Hahaha, you got that right. We have a pool in my house, how early will we hear the first lawnmower. Winner gets a chocolate chip cookie. I'm betting we'll hear them early, 'cause folks got things to do. They'll be out there mowing away by 10, so they can do their other activities on time. No matter what else everyone has planned, after all that rain, the lawns in the neighborhood need a haircut.

Tonight: Birthday get-together with about 15 or so friends . Sweetwater Tavern in Centreville.

Tomorrow: Leading some high schoolers on a park cleanup service project in the afternoon.

Tomorrow night: Not sure, but maybe seeing the DC Rollergirls in action with a buddy, then dinner?

Sunday: Maybe church. Maybe sleep in. Definitely lift weights. Otherwise chill out.
