Hello -

Me and my roommate are looking to move to the Falls Church area. However, he needs to be within walking distance of a metro as he does not have a car and works in DC. Can anyone help us out with the names of any apartments within walking distance of the East Falls Church or West Falls Church metro station?

Thanks!

You can look up the zip codes and search the apt listings in Craigslist by zip code. I'm kinda new here but those areas seem more single family home than apts. You probably need to bus to the metro stop. Thats what my Hubby does.

You might try Broad Falls Apartments near West Falls Church Metro.

I just found an apt in the alexandria/arlington area using a realtor. I can recommend David Olinger (www.davidolinger.lnfre.com). I didn't know the area and figured a realtor that handles rentals would be able to advise me. We had a list of seven places to look at and I got into my number one choice from the list.

I think there are some apartments on Washington Blvd near E. Falls Church station. I drive by there every once in a while and I seem to recall seeing them. Sorry, no names.

replying to myself to correct my error. I drove that way today while thinking of this thread. I was wrong, there are no apartment buildings where I thought there were.

There are a number of apartment buildings on Roosevelt Blvd, which turns into Sycamore Street and intersects with Washington Blvd very close to the E. Falls Church metro station. So you weren't too far off the mark!

One complex is Roosevelt Towers; don't know much about it personally but see that a 2BR runs about $1500/month.
