hi,
i am travelling from sterling blvd to george mason. I need to be there by 8:30 am. i was thinking of taking 28 S to 50E to 123 S. any ideas how long this will take in the am?

Sorry, I don't travel that route during rush hour but I can tell you all those roads get very backed up. Add at least another 20 minutes to the regular commute time.

Try getting on Fairfax County Parkway instead of going 28/50. Less lights! Tue and Thu mornings are the worst to get to GMU so leave EARLY. Very, very early. Traffic gets crazy around the campus.

Default At least an hour

The commute can likely be done in 30 minutes but finding parking and your building will take at least another 30. Do a dry run over the weekend just to get your bearings.

Don't leave after 7:15am. My best guess is 60-75 minutes. 28 and 50 are both evil.
