Does anyone know the route the Dulles South Loudoun County commuter bus takes into Rosslyn? Both for buses that stop at Dulles North and that don't?

Moving to Stone Ridge and will be using the bus a few days per week into Rosslyn. Just wondering!
Thanks

I've never seen the commuter busses on Rt 50, so they don't go that way. I believe the route is 606N to the Greenway to the Dulles Toll Road to 66.

No, it's the Greenway to the Dulles Access Road (the road between the Dulles Toll Rd) not the Dulles Toll Road (DTR). It's for airport traffic and commuter buses so you won't be sitting in traffic on the DTR.

Once they pick up/drop off at Dulles South and/or Dulles North, it's a straight/non-stop trip to Rossyln. The slowest portion is on Rte 66E as you approach DC and this depends on what time of morning you're heading in. Should make it in roughly 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Good luck!

Default Dulles South to DC - Union Station area

Following up on the previous post, how long would it take to get to DC (Union Station) from Dulles South using the commuter bus (during morning and evening rush hour)?

I think 1 hr, 10-15 minutes? Again, depends on the traffic. Here's the schedule from Dulles South:
http://www.loudoun.gov/documents/49/...0622016456.pdf

and the schedule for other routes:
Loudoun County, VA - Official Website - Routes, Fares & Schedules

Oh, forgot one thing.

If you're getting off at Rosslyn, it's great in the morning since it's the first stop. But in the afternoon, it's the last pick-up so (1) it's often longer than scheduled if there are traffic back-ups, and (2) seats are limited and often full, so it may be Standing Room Only.

Glad to hear they avoid 50 - that is what I was hoping.

Good point re: the afternoon crowds- The 4:30 bus [603D] in the afternoon only has 2 stops in VA before Rosslyn, so I am hoping this may not be as crowded as some of the others coming from DC, but it may be wishful thinking.

Default Buses from Stone Ridge - Dulles South

yes we have commuter buses from inside Stone Ridge towards Rosslyn. Starts around 5.55 am untill around 8:00 am. You could get more info at Loudoun County, VA - Official Website - Routes, Fares & Schedules

They travel throough Dulles toll way into DC. The 5:55 bus directly goes first stop at Simthsonian Metro. All others go through multiple stops in DC
