Best northern Virginia therapist recommendations for PTSD (homeless, value)

Hi everyone,

I have suffered with PTSD symptoms for nearly 7 months. After a long but unproductive 5 months with my previous therapist, he was unable to help me get better, and has refused to reengage with therapy.

I have interviewed and I swear, there are so many crazy, mean, unempathetic, weird therapists out there!

I am sensitive, I highly value someone who is nice from the get-go. I prefer a man, I just relate better. He doesn't have to wear a suit, but I'd prefer he not look homeless.

Does anyone see someone for PTSD, that understood you right from day one, had a plan of attack right away and made you feel like you were going to finally get your life back?

I'm really sick and I need symptom relief, like yesterday. I don't need any book recommendations, so if your therapist sends you out with a list and considers that "therapy", please don't recommend him. I also would prefer to stay away from large practices, I feel like just a chart number and it's uncomfortable.
