Ouch. I got trapped by a trooper for an HOV violation coming off 66 onto Route 7. It will end up costing like 180 before said and done.

At least the poster knew what they did wrong and isn't trying to find a way out of the ticket. Hey - I speed at times and am lucky I haven't been caught in a speed trap.....I think that's what they meant - not that they were actually 'trapped'.

Yeah maybe "trapped" wasnt the right word. He was pulling someone over and standing by the car and saw me..While he was writing me up I saw at least a few more cars driving by with one person. It was on the ramp.

It's still a HOV lane and you can bet if that is what he chose to target that afternoon he went from stopping you right to another violator. Hopefully you learned your lesson I guess.
