What is wrong with these perverts? Every week I hear about one. Here goes another one. I'm getting really concerned, why does it seem that it is happening more often in PWC. Too many pedophiles working in these school systems....

Really, you hear about a teacher in PWC being accused of this behavior? I doubt that...

Quite an exaggeration. Every week?

This person was accused and hasn't even been found guilty of anything.

Okay I'm exaggerating, but seriously though, there was a teacher at Garfield High a few weeks ago then there was another one for another school that I cannot remember. I'm wondering if they are just having lower standards of hiring teachers or are they just one of the only school systems to put this out publicly?

Although I'm sure it happens, all too often, I am always leery when I hear these stories. What better way to get back at a teacher who gave you a detention, bad grade, etc. Just remember that poor teacher in Centreville who was accused and it turned out to be a lie the student made up. His life was never the same. There is good and bad in every profession, but being a teacher sure isn't easy these days.

Another one.

Come on, I know they all might not be guilty, but this is a little disturbing. Something is seriously wrong with how the school system is running itself with these teachers.

It doesn't sound like he is presumed innocent until proven guilty when the school system puts out statements such as this:

School officials on Thursday said they will not tolerate sexual misconduct from their employees. “The school system will address this issue thoroughly and in an ongoing way … this is serious,” Blackstone said. “Our employees are held to a high standard.”

Unfortunately in cases like this, just the assertion that any misconduct took place will cast a stigma on this teacher for the rest of his life even if he is found not guilty. If he's guilty, well then he can burn in hell for all I care.

As far as the statement released, it was probably the school trying to get ahead of the issue and being proactive.

Holy cow! Another one on the news tonight at Woodbridge Middle School. Really makes you wonder if perhaps PWC needs to revamp its back ground check or something. But if the teacher has never been in trouble before, there would be no way of knowing. Very scary.
