I need help...please people

I have recently moved to the Ashburn area, and have yet to find a decent salon that knows how to work with my hair. Not interested in starting a racial debate, just need some honest-to-goodness advice. I could continue to drive to Dc, but man...that 45 min drive is not cute anymore!

I have been using some great Ethiopian stylists in DC, but have seen some dazzling ladies out here and just know that they are not all driving all over creation just to look so fab...

Does anyone have a fabulous stylist/salon that they recommend wholeheartedly and wouldn't mind sharing??? Pleeease!

I didn't know about this one either thanks!

I work nearby and often get my hair done in the area.
In the shopping center with the Wegmans I have been getting my hair done by a latina (name begins with an A...Alba maybe?) that works in the Hair Cuttery and has done a great job with my hair. I have not had a relaxer there though but in between maintenance. For less than $30 it can't be beat!
I also checked with the Bubbles and the Ulta over there and they both have black hair specialist but I have not made an appointment with them yet.
Beyond that I have been to this salon in Herndon on the recommendation of a friend who goes there Michael Andrew's Salon: About Us

Try Yelp.com. Put in your exact location and look for hair stylists in that area. I usually find that someone has usually already tried a number of the salons in the area and has created a list sharing their experiences. From there, you can read the reviews of others. That's how I've found the salons I plan to try now that I've officially arrived.

Thanks for all the advice, everyone! I called Bladz and they were surprisingly...um, shall we say "busy" for a weekday...they put me on hold forever, and then had to call me back. Mmm...Will check out some of the other suggestions! I appreciate the feedback.

BLAD'Z is a very nice Salon with some talented Stylist. I recommend seeing Missy or Nikki. 703.723.3377 is their number. They also have a website www.BladznCuts.com I am a repeat customer and I love it. If you need your eyebrows threaded, ask for Hany...He is amazing.

There's a "black" barber shop that I just discovered in Dulles Town Center mall. Well it looked black. I saw mixed clientelle not just black in there. Which is good as more and more folks of various backgrounds move to the burbs.
