Hello. My wife and I are looking to move from the Courthouse area of Arlington to Falls Church (22043, near Idylwood Rd.).

There are some nice townhomes that are supposedly "walking distance" from the West Falls Church metro.

Can one really walk to the WFC station? Are there sidewalks in the area? Would driving to the station require getting onto I-66?

Thanks!

the station is accessible from rt 7 and several other local roads. Although it is a more suburban area, when I used to live around there I saw many people walking from the metro station to nearby neighborhoods. Most places have sidewalks, like most of rt 7, but I'm not sure about the whole way. I was impressed by the distance some people seemed to be walking from the metro, like all the way to pimmit hills area, well over a mile from the metro I think.
