My TV is having some problems and I need to have it repaired. I found very few listings in the yellow pages, so I was hoping someone on this forum had someone they could recommend. I have never had to use a repairman before (the ones we had before were all made well I suppose), but my new TV's warranty expired a few months ago, and it is on the fritz. I would be interested in the Scranton, Mid Valley, or Up Valley areas. Thanks!

weluvpa - Thanks for the info

I called around to a few places, and was surprised at the estimates I was given (as we had a very good idea about what was wrong). All proved to be higher than what many online sites stated was a "ballpark" amount to make the repair.

So our last call was to Homish TV repair (in Eynon), and his price was at least 50% less than any of the other repairmen I had contacted. He came and picked up the TV (no add'l charge either, but we were close by). He saw we had a toddler, and that we are a one TV home (I am sure that is rare these days). So he voluntarily offered to repair and deliver it the same day. Needless to say we were very impressed. TV is working great! I would recommend them if you need a repair.
