I was watching the news tonite and they had a segment about a job fair at a water park in Tannersville, i forget the name of the place. Alot of people showed up in hopes of getting a job there. I don't know if it's me, but when you go for a job aren't you supossed to go halfway dressed? Most of the people that came, had on sandals, jeans, tank tops, piercings in their mouth, their hair was a mess. I saw one man that had on a nice shirt and tie, i just can't believe people go looking for jobs dressed this way.

I agree, and that is probably why they are looking for jobs.......first impressions are very important.

Maybe the word "fair" threw them off. I agree you need to make a good first impression. Its simple to wear something that is appropiate for a job fair.

I didn't say dressed up, but most of these people came looking like slobs.

Its sad, but true -- if you wear anything other than jeans and a t-shirt your "dressed up" !!!!!

It was at Great Wolf Lodge if I'm not mistaken. But I'll have to agree with the look. First impressions make or break a deal and coming to a job fair dressed as if you're going to the beach will surely get you turned away mighty quickly. Those that came dressed like that shows you how uneducated they are.
