Don't forget Napolitano's for great Italian food! It's such a cute small-town restaurant...the owner is very friendly. He makes you feel right at home.
You could be right about the trees, except that they are all marked with orange x's . The other odd thing is that they are marked from the roadside edge to back about 20 feet.

I also like to golf at the ellendale, I am a really bad golfer but the ellendale is small and not very busy. I can play, practice and not feel bad about people seeing me- lol

Yeah, I haven't been there yet, but my husband took our two boys over there to try their hand at golfing last summer. It sounds like it would be just right for my level of golfing too!

If you go about a mile past Spanky's on 507/191, the Ellendale is on the left where 507 and 191 split. It's a bar/restaurant with a golf course behind the building.

That's wonderful news!! Although it's sad that our shopping options in Newfoundland are so few that a Dollar General is exciting news.

That's a good point, but Dollar General type stores are probably the only ones doing very well right now. Plus, I think something is better than nothing in a long-empty storefront.
