I read the meetup thread this morning and then made my way out the door to get the New York Post.
On my way home I took these pics.

This would be the town park in Bloomsburg if I'm not mistaken. I suggested it as a possibility if we decide to break down our get-together into three separate events due to how massive our area is. This is a venue I mentioned as a possibility for a Central Susquehanna Valley gathering. There would also be a Scranton/Wilkes-Barre gathering and a Pocono gathering. Ideally I'd like to have just one, but would some members be willing to drive 90-minutes each way from far-flung areas like Selinsgrove to Scranton, for example?

Default Fort McClure Park

After I took these pics early this morning, I went home and found a copy of the (Bloomsburg) Press-Enterprise newspaper on my front porch. A feature article was about the park! I just learned the official name, but most people simply call it the Town Park.

In 1927, 30 residents contributed money toward the establishment of a park. The original tract was 13 acres. It is now 43 acres. Part of this parcel was once an excavation area for claiming clay for the production of bricks. Today there is a swimming pool, a lagoon with fountain, a bandshell, skateboard park, Kidsburg, disc golf course, tennis courts, official Little Leage fields, and soon...bocci courts and a few new items I cannot recall at the moment.

This park is in town and many residents are seen walking the Market Street Mile to the park! It is carefully maintained. No litter. No graffiti. Flowers are planted beneath all of the rustic fences. The view across the Susquehanna River from the park, is of the side of a small mountain ridge, which creates a peaceful scene with its refection in the water.

By far the nicest park I've ever seen in NEPA. Actively trying to seek employment in the Bloomsburg area.
