The most recent victim of failing economic policy under the Bush Administration, Starbucks announced recently that they are closing hundreds of locations across our nation, mostly ones that are newer and/or under performing. Three local coffee shops---Bloomsburg, Stroudsburg, and Back Mountain--will be closing their doors. I'm personally not a coffee drinker, but I know of many who will be going into withdrawal now! LOL!

The closings might have something to do with charging $4.00 for a cup of coffee!!! I'll stick to Curry and Dunkin Donuts.

The starbucks in clarks summit is pretty nice, but you can go to krispy kreme
right up the strip and get very good coffee for less and sit and hang out on your lap top too. Times are tight,no one is looking to spend alot of money
for a cup of coffee...

I'm with you..as long as they don't close the Krispy Kreme stores..I'll be a happy camper. We don't have any in my area of NJ anymore but when I was up in Scranton visiting my sister a few months back and made a wrong turn..there it was! What a beautiful site! Krispy Kreme lover's dream! A huge Krispy Kreme shop... I didn't want to leave

Sorry George - you have a great lawsuit now against "8 O'Clock Coffee"...worked for someone else who ended up suing McDonald's because their coffe was too hot .

Don't you have it in your food stores up there??

We buy it at the Super Walmart or BJ's down here ('cause it's cheaper), but they also have it at Publix & Winn Dixie.

I remember as a kid we'd get it at the A&P & they'd grind it in the machine at the end of the checkout counter!!

Yeah!! I'm old.
