Ok, so I'm still a newbie to the area and it's a year today since we moved here. Where are the really good flea markets???

We've been to the one on 209 I think it is...Pocono or something like that. The indoor/outdoor one.

Where are some others? Looking for something free or cheap to do this spring/summer on the weekends. Not too far from the Milford/Shohola area hopefully.

Thanks guys!!!

You should try the Blue Ridge Flea Market. It's in Saylorsburg, on old Rt 115. If on 33, going away from Stroudsburg, toward Wind Gap, you will see the flea market on the right of the highway, it used to be a drive in theater. I think the exit is right before it. Or you can get off the Lehighton exit off 33. (which goes toward Brodheadsville) When you get to the light at Chestnuthill Diner, take left onto old RT 115. Not sure how many miles, but the flea market is on the left after you go through the villiage of Saylorsburg.
It is all outdoor, and soon starts. I'm sure going to be there. Shall I wear a red carnation?

Thanks for the info, poconoproud. I've only found two flea markets around here. Marshall's Creek (which has mostly new stuff) and the one at the intersection of 940 and 115 (OK...but not very large). There is the market down around Hazelton on Wednesdays, but I don't enjoy going down there alone.

I did find a wonderful, little antique co-op down 115 south from Blakeslee. I can't for the life of me recall the name of the town or the shop right now. I enjoy looking for that undiscovered treasure.

I want to do more exploring over in your area.

That would be awesome!!! We went to the fair there last year and the kids had a blast. Hubby did the firefighter competition...I'm sure we'll be there again this year.

I think I heard a few years ago, if you're up to a short trip, there's a flea market up in the Middletown area near the Orange County Fairgrounds that's supposed to be pretty decent. Can anyone confirm this??

The fair is on Rt 191 about a mile or so north of Honesdale...I think the fair this year is from Aug 1- Aug 10. A very fun time indeed!

This thread was a great idea...I will check out the new one at the fair grounds, close to my house...I saw a sign at the entrance about something like this.

My business is in the strip mall with the Blakeslee Flea Market (the one at 115 and 940). They have a pretty decent amount of vendors depending on the time of year. Its indoor and outdoor, although durning the winter it is just indoor. In the spring/summer they have a decent amount of vendors outdoors as well. Saturday and Sunday only. From I-80 take the Blakeslee Exit. Take 115 North for about 2 miles. Flea market is on the right.
