I know I moved South Jamaica Queens and moved here and thought that it was paradise and very rural and it doesn't even have housing projects and it still gets a bad rep

I left the city 20 odd yrs ago ..I know all about it ... Lived in PCP for 10 yrs , Know all about that too, I was lucky to sell my houses to Nice folks from The Bronx ... Real nice people from Hunts Point ... I took the money and FLEW north OUTTA Monroe county and 40 odd miles later I found heaven .. I'll never move again and I'll NEVER have neighbors either ... Holla

I gotta say it Riverside4eva seems to have some weird angst toward the Poconos. I live in Emerald Lakes on a nice quiet block. It is FAR from the ghetto. To anyone who wishes to move here, come visit for the weekend and see for yourself. Its quite lovely here.

I have no problem with the Pocono's , I love it here .. I just dont like the lowlifes that move up here from the city and like locusts destroy a once pristine area .. People come here with their city mentality thinking they can park in the middle of the street , raise hell in the stores , Milk the welfare system , sell drugs , promote violence , and gangs . Dont work, dont keep their property in good shape . Ive seen it all... Now Not all that come from the city are like this ,, But 80% are ...
